I’m imaginative; methodic; resourceful, with an insatiable curiosity about the world around me.
Growing up, the daughter of a Creative Director, I got to explore and nurture my creativity with my family’s support—support that eventually helped me graduate from my dream school: RISD. There I learned the foundations of traditional graphic design (typography, composition, layout, etc…) and discovered my own design sensibilities and point of view. And, from start to finish (and still today), I aimed for authenticity, always. I let my fine arts background inform my work, by bringing painting, collage or stamped type into my designs. With invaluable knowledge, practice, and successful experimentation, I graduated in 2010.
Since then, I’ve been steadily working as a Graphic Designer and Art Director, shifting between in-house and agency roles for brands like Lay’s, Pernod Ricard, Pepsi, Susan G. Komen, March of Dimes, Disney, LG Electronics, Purina, and Nestle; teaching art to at-risk high school students; styling photo shoots and shaping editorial for Martha Stewart and Allure Magazines; and creating collateral for political campaigns.
Venturing into new and sometimes uncomfortable territory has kept me on top of my own game, and that has been awesome. With vast experience as a Freelancer, I now know that whatever I do and wherever I do it, I bring with me an understanding of what feeds strong client relationships, a happy work environment, and well-oiled creative processes.
